Just got the Proxy notice – checked the stock name – twice – can’t be – yep it is. Has to be an old notice or late April fools joke – nope. Checked the date – this year - hmmm. Better check ihub - well I’ll be darned – this thing’s legit.
Not sure my proxy amounts to much but I’m certainly not opposed to someone starting this up again. What the heck.
My reason to buy in all those years ago was the promise of antisense delivery. My thinking was that it didn’t matter who came up with the treatments if cygx’s delivery worked better the alternatives they would get a sustained piece of a growing pie. The early scientific data looked promising – but… well the rest is history. If the new board members can get (someone else’s) money to revive the candidate treatments/technology – it will be welcome news for sure.
