Deep, did their quarterly sales increase from Q1? I found it static since then. Just curious whether it is due to lack of adequate capital expenditure. I am not 100% convinced yet that they could grow to $100 million in net sales in 2013. The second half of 2013 may be better, but still a 'wait and see' IMO.
Their situation was determined to be highly salvageable and eventually profitable by Dr. Frost and his contemporaries IF they embarked on a new path with an overhauled business plan which they all readily helped them overhaul BEFORE they extended the bridge loan.
It was in their best interest to advise MP management on all the changes they needed to make to become profitable.
I believe MP was on the verge of bankruptcy due to the bad business decisions we all know they had been making. Those two advisors must have steered them in the right direction because soon after those two advisers were paid in shares, things started to happen on a recovery trajectory for MP.
The subsequent investment these different investors made in MP was a clear indication that their input had been taken seriously by MP management and concrete business reforms were being undertaken.
