I think it's a bit premature to speculate on that idea at this point. We know that the two parties are negotiating on a "settlement" but no mention of partnership. Not to say that this is not a possibility but I think that it's a stretch to be considering this avenue at this stage of the game. I know that Steve Jobs hated Google during his time and had talked about going "thermonuclear" on them but, I don't hear about the same strong dislike of Google from Microsoft. I will be happy just to see some money via Judgement or settlement come to Vringo soon. This, I believe would get other companies who are presently infringing on Langs patents to stand up and take notice.
