We use to take the Eastern shuttle to NY to go drinking as in NY it was 18 and in MA it was 21. I was so pissed when after I turned 21 they lowered the drinking age in MA to 18. They then brought it back up to 21 today. We would go to Greenwich Village and a place called Whitey's and meet kids from NJ where the drinking age was also 21. I remember some kid daring me to have a few shoots of 151 and he would pay. Didn't know what it was so I said ok - the bartender asked if I wanted a chaser (didn't know what that was either) so I took the first shot and he then immediately put up a class of coke. I thought I was going to die when it hit my stomach. I had one more and they said that I bought these four girls who were there celebrating one of the girls birthdays some champagne but I have no memory of what happened that night.
