For me, the key reason I don't feel they will take a harsh line on Colorado and Washington is because the overwhelming majority of the U.S. no longer believes the war on drugs is worth the cost to our citizenry. Plain and simple...

The feds taking to a legal battle as would surely ensue with Colorado and Washington (if you've read the news articles coming from those states and the battles their AG's are prepared to wage in the event of a hard lined tactic from the feds) would create a very volatile and likely losing battle for the feds that would be more trouble than it's worth, and is bad press for their administration....not to mention costly for them.


I smell a compromise coming....and that spells big moves for our sector.
