well, a misting nozzle is not a GDGI patent.
those have been around for a long time
their key patent is for the chemical that makes the scale fall off
maybe they have a patent on the switch that turns the mist pump off when the compressor shuts off too
but just spraying mist out of a nozzle into a dry cooling tower is not something anyone has a patent on i am pretty sure

i was working on the national level to support local conservationist efforts in the arid west to ban outdoor mist cooling in the 1980s, so its not like misting nozzles are new.
