I've been saying that the clock is ticking and time is running out on the good ship lollipop (aka;sirg) However they do have some real perty pictures, they have been in the ibox for over a year now, not much to get excited about though. To bad this is not a photography stock, if it were they would be doing much better and maybe make a buck or 2.
FACT: SIRG said they planned to start hiring in April!
The company expects to hire 20 people to work the mine once it begins operations. Some of those are high-level positions. Martin said those are being filled with a staffing service.
For truck drivers and all other labor-based positions at the mine, Martin said Sierra plans to start hiring in April.
A FONSI is issued when environmental analysis and interagency review during the EA process find a project to have no significant impacts on the quality of the environment. The FONSI document is the EA modified to reflect all applicable comments and responses. If it was not done in the EA, the FONSI must include the project sponsor's recommendation or selected alternative. No formal public circulation of the FONSI is required, but the state clearinghouse must be notified of the availability of the FONSI. In addition, FHWA recommends that the public be notified through notices in local newspapers.
