How did LPH cover operation expenses all this time?

I think they are still open for business and presume to have 50 to 100 employees (just a guesstimate), big chunk of land, lots of equipment and storage tanks, etc.

If LPH didn't have revenue or profit, how did they pay employees and
business expenses for many many years?
And how are they paying them now?

This is really strange circumstance.

Perhaps they really do/did have sufficient business to cover
most business expense but cheated their books???

In any case, LPH execs gotta be losing sleep over potential
punishment in China...unless the government officials are
in this scam as well.
