Smack I am not aware of any stock broker that would ever recommend a penny stock to an investor due to the extreme risk. I am sure anyone who invested in TECO did so voluntarily and assumed those extreme risks. It's a gamble thats not for everyone and those looking for less risk and higher probability of return on investment should have consulted with a stock broker to guide them to those stocks.
