The closer we come to a major news event, more is bet on both sides of the equation. If the shorts pile up and the news is bad, the stock price goes down and it seems that the shorts know everything. If the news is good, we will see a massive short squeeze and the pps will rocket upwards. I don't mean to over simplify but let's wait and see. We have all chosen our respective sides.
