The invasion of Iraq was sold to the Am public claiming SH had WMD and would use them against the US...Cheney and Rice referred to a " mushroom cloud", which everybody understood to mean nuclear weapons!
It was interesting to hear Mitt Romney try to re-write history at CPAC last weekend when he said the Iraq war was "a war to liberate Iraq" - THAT IS NOT HOW IT WAS SOLD TO THE AM PUBLIC...THE SELLING POINT WAS "WMD", "MUSHROOM CLOUD" - AN INTENTIONAL LIE!
