From what I have read the China faithful are already paying up for them even though the networks don't fully support the Internet. They use wifi at the hotspots for demanding downloads. There will always be a subsidy. Sell a few iPhones expensive and make a lot of profit on each at discount the price and sell millions and make coin that way. IMO of course.
The Chinese still have some money and always want the newest and greatest, if they can get it. They will pay and for once, we will make some $$$ of their consumers. Go Apple!
