Patience has been the go to excuse for failure for years now.

I don't fault getting involved with the Ebola effort. Sure the publicity could be great. Just do it as a businessman, not the way they are going about it now.
If Shannon is bound and determined to volunteer his services for free, fine. Just resign from Medizone and go at it.
However, I seriously doubt he is going to loosen his grip on the Medizone piggy bank. As I said before, guys like him can only be so magnanimous when it's on someone elses dime.
