Derx, Thanks for the links to those sites. I am going to try to contact some of the groups that have been protesting the new power lines that will be going up close to our "Nine Mile Prairie". In a way it is against my nature to deal with these "green" groups because I have found most of them to have an agenda that is based on poor science and emotion rather than reason. However they could be a good ally in the fight to improve the efficiency of the power grid around the USA if they can be convinced of the fact that using ACCC to reconductor some of the already existing lines would slow the building of new ones.
