correction: I just realized (duh) that because the wesite that's shown on the CC newspaper ad shows www.circuitcity.com/gameznflix then with all the subscibers they get through the nationwide ad, IMO still, a cut goes to them (what, about 2 months worth of subscription revenue on average, depending on the level (1,2 or 3 @ a time out)).
Anyway, for the record, I just subscribed to the "2 out" service and will report when I get the movies I asked to check out. :)
But, after going through the process, when signing up we are asked how we heard of GameZnflix, so I decided to choose "Circuit City.com". Also, after compairing all of the links going through the process both ways (through circuitcity.com and just gameznflix.com), it seems that maybe the circuitcity.com "bid" indication on the URL might just be for traffic tracking purposes only and the "How did you hear about us?" question might be the clincher to have CC paid for the new subscription. Who knows.
Either way, if CC's handwriting is on a new subscription by any means, I'm sure they have it worked out that they get paid. They wouldn't do it otherwise, IMO.
