Comments on Restricted Shares
Book Value/share (at the time of the issuance) was just over $0.0036. The PPS was $0.0028. If the shares were issued at $0.0028, it would be a 22% discount compared BV.
The amount of capital generated through the issuing of the Restricted Shares was substantial even if at a discounted price.
The company would not issue Restricted shares below its BV unless it had a very good reason to. It's the reason you strenthen your Balance Sheet (SNDY BV of ~$2.4 million) (asset/debt ratio 24 to 1) . On top of that, we saw the company just sell shares to generate more capital presumably in the $0.004-$0.006 range.
I am wondering if the company issued the ~43 million Restricted Shares at a fair but higher price.
I am assuming you are referring to Restricted shares, not Preferred.
SNDY S/S
Authorized: 950,000,000
Issued and Outstanding: 728,220,918
Restricted: 15,341,495
The ~43 million Restricted shares are definitely no longer restricted.
