Perhaps. We haven't heard Rambus' argument. For sure it's not going to be something ridiculous like the Grover patent utilizes clock feedback in the oscillator circuit.
All TR Labs want is back royalties for their invention. Which I believe is only used in RDRAM.
There's no problem with SDRAM, DDR1/2 or XDR.
There is a possibility that DDR3 will use this type of circuit (Fly-By). This may be the reason for the law suit now. Been wanting to drop Laura a line to discuss it with her. She was all gung ho about Fly-By a few days ago.
