What area of Cali do you do your work near? I worked in the Goleta area in 1982 off the coast of Cali in Santa Barbara and also the point Conception area and worked on the Glomar Java Sea. Which was the first rig to drill inside of Cali States waters in over 20 years back then for Atlantic Richfield. We wildcatted the Monterrey oil zone @ 5,200 feet before ending up in China. Which was the resting place for that rig. Which also ended up to be the first time a American drilling company was allowed to drill in communist waters.
