I think that pretty much explains it. It all revolves around the due bills of the shares that were held by shareholders of record as of 12/21/11. Some of those shares exchanged between the hands of buyers and sellers throughout 2012 and into 2013, before the Ex-Div date. We can only calculate how many of the KATX shares were "tagged" with the due bills, but we don't know how many exchanged hands. It all can be confusing, which is why ANYTIME a shareholder is due any type of dividend, he/she MUST make sure they know when the Ex-Div date occurs before selling shares that are supposed to bring a dividend.

Some are saying they received more BVIG than they expected. Can all of them truly say that they bought additional KATX between the Record Date and the E Date ? Probably they did. Now are there any members here who DID NOT get as many BVIG as they expected - and did they sell any KATX between the Record Date and the Ex Date ? That could explain it. And finally are there any here who did not get ANY BVIG after thinking that they would ? So they must have sold all their KATX between the Record Date and the Ex Date.

I cannot answer your questions as of today since I did not receive my BVIG shares yet, but I will answer your questions as soon as I get my shares, sine I kept all my shares that I had on dec 21st 2011 and I bought some more after that date and kept all without selling one single share.
