TD Ameritrade does not allow its clients to buy stocks on the DTC chill list. Etrade does allow its clients to buy DTC chilled stocks. MDIN is currently DTC chilled, thus TD Amertrade does not trade MDIN. You can sell but not buy. If you are an avid trader of sub-penny stocks, I highly recommend switching over to an Etrade account because they don't have as many restrictions as TD Ameritrade. I've been trading with Etrade for years and haven't had any problems with them whatsoever. They are the best for trading pennies.

Last message: if you trade pennies - etrade is a must. Go ahead keep your other brokers....if you want. But also have ETrade - they very rarely restrict pennies...I have had like 3 restricted from trading in 11 years....
