I have a suspicion that the million share sell was the firm that paid for the P&D promotion. If the P&D firm dumps, then you know it is over for this stock, at least in the short term.
If on the other hand the sell was by say a dozen or more sellers then I suspect the buy was by the firm that is loading up to get ready for another round of P&D. If that is the case, it would be good to buy, and wait for the pump emails, and have your sell order ready for the first hour or so of the P&D activity. IMHO
The only thing going against this line of thought is mathematics. If the buy is at .03, and the average sell is .06 that nets a $50k profit. However, the disclaimer for this P&D indicated they were paid $200k for a two week promotion, so making $50k on a (future) $200k expenditure isn't very good business. If the volume is 10X that, then the P&D makes sense. This particular P&D wasn't that successful, so I am guessing the big volume was the P&D firm selling off and running for the exits. IMHO
Most people who were caught up in this turd have an unrealized loss of between 50-80%, so they might just hang on, waiting for a no name firm to make a big blockbuster movie. Maybe their kids will see some appreciation, who knows! IMHO
