The conference took place from Dec. 5 to 7, 2012 (Source:http://www.ibsd.gov.in/icms/final/schedule.pdf). Speakers included not only Lewis, but Fraser as well. Lewis spoke on spider silk and Fraser spoke on PiggyBac and the Development of Silkworm Transgenics (Source:http://www.ibsd.gov.in/icms/speakers.html). Lewis and Fraser were the only speakers at this conference from the United States of America! (Source: http://www.ibsd.gov.in/icms/final/poster.pdf).
