B/Y, I missed the announced sale of the Lafrance Wholesale HBC business, I would have commented on this Mistake, had I known!!!
Alliance boots drives good revenue from the HBC business, and A/B Executive Director who also NOW is Walgreens largest Shareholder should of been consulted before this second failure in business planning, Unless of Course, you believe The eyes on the Fries are a leading directional indicator in this sector.
I disagree with you on Walgreens announced numbers, in that the Flu season with the over the counter med's.. should have driven add on Sales, Sushi excluded... but Chicken Noodle soup and crackers was a free add-on here..
So was mouth wash, tooth paste and hand disinfectants, not to mention tissues and paper products, Oxy's and the Roxy's business excluded..
As for Flu Vaccinations these are regulated drugs, Thank God, and should be included in Rx Counts.
Walgreens, Cash flow v Accounts payable need to be monitored, IMHO, I think you may find your rat here..
Walmart v Walgreens, I think Walmart has focused on the business model Walgreens lost. on a pullback I will buy.
