This is also good because it helps KBLB establish an expected yield for the number of eggs they sell, thus helping them price the product. They need to know the hatch rate in order establish expectations for purchasing X amount of eggs. Doing it in phases helps ensure no problems occur which would cause them to lose a bunch of eggs and time, as well as helping them establish an average hatch rate.
