DABOSS: I have 5 entire quarters of negative gross profit margins on e.Digital products sold to prove my point about the Odyssey 1000 not being able to achieve a positive gross profit on its puny 1,000 unit initial run (of which only a subset has been sold to date).

What proof can you offer that the Odyssey 1000 will both create a gross profit AND sell enough to make a dent in the operational expenses of e.Digital?

Unfortunately since the current quarter is the end of e.Digital's fiscal year, the data for this quarter will most likely not be made available from e.Digital until it's final SEC due deadline at the end of June 2003. I am very certain the results will show a continuing negative gross profit on this product as was the case on the previous e.Digital products sold over the last 5 quarters. You have a few months to TRY to claim a "profit" scenario before the truth is revealed in the 10K.

Also, the usual scenario for e.Digital is not to present the quarterly results for QE March 31 in the 10K, but to produce only the annual results. Therefore, anyone who wants to know the quarterly results needs to subtract the numbers from the previous 3 quarters to know how the last quarter did.

I am going on record as saying that I believe the gross profit margin on products sold in QE 3/31/03 will also be negative and that the loss from operations for FYE 3/31/03 will be the greatest in the history of e.Digital/Norris Communications.

DABOSS...I just read an article
in a magazine from last summer. I'll post the link tomorow if you want. It was praising CEO's around the country. Steve Jobs was one of them. In the article the iPod was ceditided for helping turn Apple around. At the time they had sold 125,000. I beleive the date was July of last year. So the iPod turned profitable sometime before that.
