I see AMD is still up to its wafer yield vs production
volume tricks on the slide supposedly showing how
smoothly its SOI processes matured compared to
its 130 nm bulk process.

Industry standard practice is to show wafer yield vs
time for this sort of thing. I wonder how that would
look for AMD's SOI processes? The fact they use
this sly obfuscation instead suggest it wouldn't be
nearly as flattering.

Not that your typical analyst would pick up on that
in a hundred years. ;-)
