Not trying to abrasive or contrary, but high yields of indoor can finish in 12 weeks. Outdoor is longer because you're not manipulating the light/dark cycles. Also, using techniques like screen of green (scrog), yields can almost be 1 1/2 quantity of regular flowering cycles with fewer leaf nodes and more buds. I've never seen weed that takes 6 months to flower and mature (not saying such strains don't exist, but commercial growers are mostly using hybrid strains now that can flower as early as 8 weeks. It really just depends on the farmer and their knowledge of how to grow.
