Here's a DOSBox for instance for Windows that contains Newport (that's for Windows only, for other operating systems (MAC etc.) you'd have to install the appropriate DOSbox for that operating system)
That's a compressed (ZIP) file so you have to first extract all of the files to a directory somewhere (uses about 40MB of disk space), and then run the #start.windows31.bat file that starts up dosbox etc. Copying (extracting) the files onto a flash stick makes it portable, but that can be a little slow to run (but still usable).
Newport's date might need adjusting, there's a date code that can be changed in stock.npt to the more recent correct value as indicated by this web page
DOSBox emulation will lock the mouse into the emulator region i.e. you first need to click in the windows area to get the mouse focused. To break the mouse free again its a Ctrl-F10 key combination. To toggle DOSbox full screen/windowed its ALT-ENTER.
Under older versions of windows you had to double click the top right area as the 'close' window action.
