you're holding mason to a different standard than volk.

for example, i should ask what did volk "do wrong" by deferring his salary, and those of other employees, for a period of a few years, while PXTE struggled? you can find that fact in the Q filings. volk still hasn't been paid in full for his back wages, based on what i've seen.

similarly, mason could have also deferred his payments/salary for his crappy well, but he did not. he sold off the ORRI and stuck it to the shareholders.

he could have paid himself for I-1 with shares and he did not.

were the I-1 well's two giant production delays the fault of mason's shareholders?

answer: no.

if no, then would it at least be highly unethical for him to put his own financial interests above the rest of us?

answer: (imo) yes.
