Thanks for the response, its much appreciated. I'm just trying to figure out how this issue is going to screw us. I'm just paranoid; well maybe "conditioned" is a more appropriate term after experiencing these bear raids so many times.
The recent option activity in question surrounding the Heinz, Berkshire deal involved calls that expired later than February. Even though that would have been the most profitable call to purchase, that would also have been too obvious. So as to why someone wouldn't use March calls for the purpose of acquiring shares might be to mask the timing of their plan. All IMO.
