Gilgamash: You may be one of the few people left who still thinks that e.Digital has any real chance of establishing a "global standard" technology for anything.
"Convergence" of various techologies to perform certain tasks seemlessly has been the reality in the digital world since its inception. All of the things you mentioned (actually "shouted" in all caps), are available now or are in development without e.Digital's involvement. There is no need for a "global standard" technology to do those things and there is no need for MOS.
It seems that you are still believing and repeating the company's hype from the last 4 years. Even management has stopped discussing the goal of making MOS a "global standard."
Are you impressed with the buzz words e.Digital's uses to hype MOS? Words such as "convergence," "agnostic" and "seemless" don't have any unique connection to e.Digital and are rather meaningless in this context.
