OT: Just so my position is clear let me say that I am not in favor of a war. Having participated in one has left me a dove in such matters. I do believe that if the world had stuck to it's word and presented a united front we would not be on the brink of hostilities. For this I blame the French. Announcing their intention to veto any resolution beforehand was an effort to position themselves as the intended savior of Iraq. "See! we tried to stop them." They knew it wouldn't work or they should have vetoed 1441. It's a despicable tactic and it will cost lives.
Bye the way. I hear that they think the world of French Canadians. I know two who cut their vacations short because they were tired of being insulted every day.
