My guess is that the worm has turned here.

Capt: I thought that the quants were playing both sides and adjusting their allocation of long and short shares to control price and pull steady, tiny profits that cumulatively add up while keeping them poised to make bigger profits if something positive happens with the company. Isn't that what all of those 100 share trades are about, or is that MMs? A close friend now works for one of these billionaire quants and someday I hope to learn more about the games they play.
