Re-evaluation is good. Re-assessing a situation is also good. I myself have been known to re-evaluate my analysis and opinions as the facts change and new ones come to light.
I applaud you for doing the same.
However, in this particular instance, there were no facts or logical reasons to ever believe VRNG would hit $60 in a few months time. A $6 billion overall valuation for a company with no operating revenues is quite a stretch of the imagination -- with or without a decent court victory. The truth is, there has never been a patent infringement amount awarded in the history of the world that would justify that type of valuation. You can count on one hand the number of patent infringement cases over $1B and a couple of those were overturned, with one still pending.
