Investors like these estimates as they add detail and quantity, and third party validation of the estimates provided by the company.

Of course the risked amounts are less, but then, what is actually discovered, or not, is the true result. This gives us more information about the quality of the leads and prospects.

More important to me is Tullow's opinion. They have a high accuracy rate, direct experience in analogous geology in the world class Jubilee field, and crucially, have committed a small fortune to drilling a well.

It was Tullow's interest in this geology that derisked HDY for me. Perhaps the NSAI report will wake the investment community up to how prospects have improved for HDY.
