An appeal from what i understand doesnt automatically reopen laches. But i could be wrong. I dont think goog is afraid of any outcome. Unless the royalty rate is crazy high. Whats a few hundred mill more to them if they do infact reopen laches if they appeal? I think an appeal is a sure bet. Right now i only care about the shareholder being rewarded. As the officers of the company are getting rich now while we wait.
