tmcal6- Re: MVCO

tmc- I'm long, but being their seasonably weakest qtrs are historically Dec and Mar( from the CEO himself), why would you think they'll show just as good numbers in those qtrs as in the Sept qtr. Also, do you realize that the $.60 they just showed comes to $.34 after taking out the minority interest as if it occured for the entire 3 months, and adding a 37% tax rate? I would love you to be right about a repeat performance in the Dec qtr, but what worries me is it won't be nearly as good. The way I see is either that the street is assuming little or no growth in 2006, or they feel the next qtr will be weak. I listened to the CC, and it appears they do 26% private contracts. When I called and talked to Brad myself, he told me about half of that 26% was residential( So that would be approx 13% residential- which is higher margin business also). My concern is that with residential real estate slowing, business will slow from that particular segment and bring down overall earnings growth a bit. tmc- I agree that MVCO is worth more than where it's at, but it just seems for whatever reason, the street is unconvinced. Just got in at $11.77, so I'm a bit frustrated- planning on hanging in their for a bit though. Wade
