Bayer...Aspirin is a naturally occurring substance made from the bark of the willow tree, not sure if they had patent on the onset but they and the others have a lot of catching to do. One must also consider that the medical aspect is only half of the equation as MJNA is also way ahead on the recreational use phenomenon.
