McDonnell leaves office this year and VA Repub pols are showing signs of concern about re-election...this week House Speaker Bill Howell (R) blocked Repub plans to re-district the Commonwealth, a bill pushed through when Repub pols blindsided the Dems by taking advantage of a Dem lawmaker attending President Obama's inauguration - the one vote that would have stopped the Repubs plan...Negative press for Repub lawmakers was unbelievable!
Ultra-conserv and teabagger fav, VA AG Ken Cuccinelli is running for governor this Nov...News reports today indicate he may have a challenge from Repub Lt Gov Bill Bolling who said he'll have a major announcement next month - he could run as an Independent. Terry McAuliffe is the Dem candidate.
