The problem is they have dissected the patent to death and made it into something altogether different due to the redefining of the terms. The patent should include any switching done from wifi to cell or cell to satellite or wifi to satellite etc. The patent does not speak to measuring anything. All the device needs to do is receive or not receive a signal then switch, not based on some signal strength or error code mumbo jumbo.
