The this is not a friendly climate for patent troll cases. Having a handful of customers in a decade when you are trying to bring lawsuits against players in an entire mature industry paints a pretty clear picture that MMR's business model is as patent troll.

Lorsch's proximity to porn stars and his rubbing elbows with felons on MoneyTV will not make MMR a sympathetic plaintiff.

Yep, this is what can happen:

"Shares of Qualcomm closed Friday at $66.73 and Gabriel shares closed [GWLK] at a penny. Both stocks were inactive premarket."

Certainly some lessons there if MMRF's claims are meritless.
