LOL..enjoy the sammich Qui!..trend trading has become a lot easier ever since I came up with the fib box thingy and dumped all those oscillators from my charts.By using the fib box method I no longer look for a top or a bottom...I simply find a point of a reversal attempt in an obvious trend down or up...then set a fib box that I always call a consolidation box and scalp some pips in consolidation but am always mindful that a break above the box in a downtrend may signal a trend reversal. If it breaks above the consolidation box I duplicate the box in area above it.I am fully aware that buy to cover can often extend into this higher box but fall back into lower box....buy to cover is not a bullish condition.it only looks like one.A more reliable condition is if it holds support on retrace at 38.2 to 61.8 of lower box it just left.If it soon enters the new upper box I expect to trade it between levels of zero and 100(borders..you might say)in the new upper box..if it breaks to a new higher box I have to then treat it as a trend move to the upside and I begin stacking boxes to the upside.I use this method on TFs down to as low as M5 but am ever mindful of weekly and lower TFs.In big moves the big picture must be considered or you can get blindsided by a perfecly valid technical move.
