QCOM has just served notice, as they have one of the most brutally effective legal teams in the business, probably the equal of IBM's legal team, aka 'the Nazgul'.

Keep in mind that QCOM is not only defending themselves, but also their licensees and chipset customers.

Must be a frightening thing to the euro-cabal that QCOM has essential IP claims on 2G GSM, much less 3G UMTS, HSDPA, and of course, what the whole action is about --- WiMax.

They just got pwned in a big way...
