Up on mezz above the big door there are long rows of shelving with parts, too. I'm used to wood mills around here; when they close one down it gets cleared out and all parts and most equipment is either sold or transferred to other mills. With the Pride of the West it looks like they left everything. I was really impressed with how clean everything was. The floors are swept to the point they even detailed around the base of the machinery every little bit of grit they could find. Even under places like the conveyor belts where it's tough to get under. A lot of the equipment wasn't used much before shutdown and the factory paint is in great shape. I commented on how well the conveyor belts looked and was told they had been replaced just before shutdown. It was well maintained and is still intact; they just need to add the new tailing storage and water treatment system.
