blshtry, remember the company said all the needed was 5M
to continue and to make an initial order. They have
exceeded this minimum requirement by nearly a factor of x4
now whoever the ems that rvtech originaly contracted the
order with will be more than satisfied with clyws initial
order
however you do raise a valid point, if one is to do a
production run, it would be in clyw's best interests to
postpone that run for a short period of time so as to
maximize the initial order, clyw benifits by this in several
ways
1. the can get a better margin
2. ems will be happier w/ clyw in general
3. sharholders though initialy anxious to get shipment will
be pleasantly suprised to get even greater revenues
imho everybody wins by waiting a little longer, not only that
but the ems likely has some complex scheduling of how to
work in a job and when they may have already told clyw that
they need the letter of credit loged by such and such a date
moreover they may have also said that prior to that it realy
didnt matter becaust they wouldnt be able to begin production
any sooner anyway
this is a nice window of opportuntiy that clyw has to pick up
some more orders, im hoping that all the ruckus from the
hurricane doesnt impinge on their ability to execute in this
window.
as for HTC, either it is or it is not, its already pre
determined at this point, whoever the ems was that specified
the original 5,000,000 dollar requirement is who they will
be going with
its good for small companies to be relatively loyal at first
and if switching mfg's then it should be done so in a very
amicable fashion, we dont need to be burning bridges, not ever
its not personal, its business
