The reason Rauber took his job with JBI is because

- he has 6 kids and hence 8 mouths to feed;

- it would enable him to put "CEO of a public company" on his CV.

- he would earn far more, in terms of salary and bonuses, than he possibly could doing anything else, even if his stock options end up being worth zero.



All Bordynuik wanted was a puppet he could control, and being a puppet is a hell of an easy way to earn a fat paycheck.

Rauber obviously didn't give a rat's ass that Bordynuik's lie about $10/bbl oil was used to defraud thousands of unwitting investors.
