Wheeler is the former CEO of CDE, from way back before they shed the properties that are now U.S. Silver.

Much like the case in what we've seen develop here over the time since Parker left, Wheeler did vastly better for himself at the helm of CDE than he did for the shareholders under his tenure.

CDE is a horrendous perennial under-performer.

Note the article says "“We have been fortunate to have had Dennis serving our 83-year-old company and its shareholders as a dedicated and steadfast CEO for nearly 25 years and a director for 33 years,” Mellor commented in a statement."

Yeah. Right. Look at a (split adjusted) chart of CDE's stock performance during his tenure as CEO ?

From a high of $310 in 1990... to a low of $3.60 in 2008 ?

There's been a lot of money made from CDE's growth over the years.

Only none of it has benefited CDE shareholders.
