I have been very busy at work but here is the way I look at the current situation:
1. Gerald is being very cautious with the MANF data, he is in the process of having the results replicated and validated (that can be announced anytime soon.) Proof positive will bring funding !!
2. Gerald and his legal team are making sure everything is being kept transparent and making it painfully hard for organized shorts to harm his hard work,hence Berlin is done.
3. All the patents have been protected for MANF here and abroad.
4. Gerald and company ( Rubinfeld Zimmerman et al ) are arranging funding. They have been emphatic that this source of funding will not come at the shareholders expense.
5. MANF has so far proven to work and it does better then GDNF( remember re-innervation and 38 % higher concentrations) in preclinical trials. My guess is that once funding is obtained, they will either use the techniques employed by AMGEN in their GDNF trial or will try and replicate the method used by Ceregene by using a adenoviral vector to deliver the drug to the substansia nigra in primates.
6. Nuropro lab test for Parkinson's disease continues to progress towards approval and commercialization as early as 4 th quarter of 2013.
7. Work is being carried out to move towards the AMEX ? so that larger investors can join in as well as attracting deep pockets.
We are holding our shares very tightly and plan to until the above plays out.
