I do have to strongly disagree, Gastro. I think Caldwell played an extraordinary role in saving the company. He did it in part because he had come to understand what Lanza was doing and what a great team he had put together and had come to see the incredible breakthroughs in medicine it could lead to and he wanted to enjoy the fame and, as well and not least, the fortune. Again, however, I don't know if the deals he made were more aimed at giving him an even bigger edge on the fortune side, or necessary to keep the company going, or some legitimate mistakes, or a combination thereof.

I do, however, know how close ACTC was to folding when it went below 0.01 in early August of 2008. That was when they virtually had the lab mice running 24/7 in their exercise wheels to keep the lab lights on and Caldwell played probably the major role in saving them at that point.
