Gregory.....You are probably right on the trend for exploration stocks, however, my point is there are many strategies utilized by hedge fund managers. Everyone of them that I have known and some equity traders that I worked with believe they have the right strategy/model. Probably like you, I have seen some make a lot of money, some that made a modest living, and some loose their shirt. I don't buy into Technicals over Fundamentals any more than I buy into Fundamentals over Technicals. I personally believe it is a combination of both. Yes, the sector is under pressure and I accept that fact, but I don't think we have seen "on average" a 90% price decline among all the juniors. (I could be wrong but I don't think so). Look, all I am saying is that CD has failed at promoting the stock and continues to fail. Instead we have received a few over the top statements such as "The Largest Gold Discovery in Canada" along with projections from Gary that the stock would perform better this fall, plus others. The so called JV never came to fruition that most everyone on this board felt would happen plus many other issues. The company has basically run out of cash and is putting out a press releases when it raises a small amount of capital ($100,000) which is a joke in itself. At the end of the day, it sounds like the only hope we have is for the market sector sentiment to shift bullish. That could take years and I just don't see CD being able to raise enough money to buy much more time to proving up 10 million oz or whatever it's going to take to drive the stock price up. We are at a critical juncture and I see nothing being done to assure the shareholders that a plan B or strategy is in place to protect what little shareholder value this company has. At this rate we will see $0,05 before we see $0.20.
